Romanian politicians are dealing with the economic crisis in an "overly heated" manner, similar to the media communications in catastrophic cases, Romanian National Bank (BNR) governor Mugur Isarescu said in Iasi, NW Romania on Wednesday, quoted by Mediafax news agency.

"We should remove the crisis from our mind. It's no need to discover America. It's enough to look at other countries, to come up with solutions and policies which have already been applied. Solutions are to be found in specialized works and common sense. The rest is noise", Isarescu said in a speech at a university in Iasi.

He said the effects of the crisis were inevitable, but that he hoped the economy would recover as soon as possible from recession.
