Major multinational gas company Rompetrol raised the price for gasoline and diesel oil in Romania on Friday. The price for gasoline increased with four bani (0.4 lei) and one liter of diesel oil is now three bani (0.3 lei) more expensive, according to Romanian news agency Mediafax.
Efix 95 gasoline costs now 3.66 lei per litre, while Alto 101 gasoline can be bought at a price of 4.26 lei per litre, shows a Rompetrol announcement. Rompetrol diesel oil customers will pay 3.58 lei for one litre of Effix Diesel and 3.88 lei for one litre of Diesel Alto 55. The prices listed at the Rompetrol Downstream petrol stations can have a +/- 5% variation.
Rompetrol is controlled by KazMunaiGaz group.
