An armed robbery was signaled Friday morning in a Carpatica bank branch in Constanta, South East Romania, news televisions inform. Two masked men entered the bank at 8:10 am a few minutes after the bank opened. They threatened the cashier who managed to call off the alarm even though she got scared. Nonetheless, the thieves left with 790,000 lei.

At the time there was no one in the bank, Constanta police spokesperson Anda Dragulescu declared. She added that the police is currently investigating the case and watching the video tapes of the robbery.
