Consumption prices stagnated in May in the euro zone, at annual levels, for the first time in the region, according to the EU statistics institute, Eurostat, AFP informs. The inflation for the 16 countries part of the euro zone was set in May at 0.0% after 0.6% in April.

Economists are expecting in the future a negative downturn as the energy prices exploded in 2008 in the summer.
