The IMF should deliver the second installment amounting to some 1.9 billion euro of its loan to Romania on September 15 this year, according to the results of a first examination, in August, and of country performance by mid-2009, a letter of intention published on Wednesday shows, as quoted by Romanian news agency NewsIn.

The last installment for 2009 of the IMF loan should be delivered by December 15 and amounts to 1.56 billion euro. The third installment would be conditioned by the results of a second IMF evaluation and by the country's performance by end of September 2009.

Other four installments are expected in 2010.

The first IMF installment amounting to 5 billion euro was delivered on May 6.
