IMF maintains the deadline initially imposed to Romanian authorities for the adoption of the unique budgetary salary scheme but its representatives expressed their willingness to discuss the issue with the government, IMF Romania representative Jeffrey Franks informs, quoted by Romanian news agency NewsIn.
After meeting Finance ministry representatives, Franks declared that IMF maintains its initial calendar imposed but that they are open to talks with the government. Alfa Cartel leader Bogdan Hossu declared on Tuesday that the government urged the IMF to postpone the deadline imposed for the implementation of the unique salary scheme for state workers. He added at the time that the IMF agreed to postpone the deadline with a couple of months.
