Dacia might come to produce daily over 450 Duster cars, a 75% increase than the 260 cars produced currently, Dacia chief Jerome Olive declared in an auto conference organized by the Romanian news agency Mediafax. Dacia officials declared in the past that it will decide to increase production based on the way the new Duster model will be received on the market.

Dacia sent 80000 cars in three months in 2010 and admitted that the Romanian market is its weakness due to very low sales. Duster is currently produced at a rate of 260 cars per day but might increase to 460 cars per day in the second part of the year.
