Consumption prices increased in April by 0.4% and the annual inflation rate increased to 4.3% from 4.2% in March, according to the opinions expressed by members of the Financial Analysts Association. Their opinions regarding the inflation varied from 0.2% to 0.5% and estimates regarding the annual rate were somewhere between 4.2% and 4.4%.

Analysts estimated for the end of the year an annual inflation rate of 4%. According to data released by the National Statistics Institute, the annual inflation rate was 4.2%. The Institute will announce on Tuesday the inflation rate for April.
