IMF experts, part of the Fiscal Business Department start talks with Romanian fiscal experts to find ways to increase the efficiency of collecting revenues to the state budget. Meetings will last two weeks until July 28 when IMF experts will present their conclusions.
The technical assistance mission will help Romanian experts to use the information technology as efficiently as possible, IMF Romanian and Bulgarian Chief Tonny Lybek said. The government promised the IMF that it will offer the national fiscal department increased attributions to counter evasion.
