In the next 15 years about 189 multinational companies with Romanian majority capital will appear, a PricewaterhouseCoopers study reveals. The study reads that Romania will be on about the same level with Ukraine with 192 new multinationals and Hungary with 221. Most multinationals that will appear will come from Russia, 930 and Poland with 287.

The report shows that the global economic environment will change in the next 15 years as more and more multinationals in China and Inida will expand on foreign markets. Plus, there will be more and more companies from Singapore, Malaysia and South Korea.

Many companies from dynamic emerging areas like India, China, Russia might be interested to invest in Romania to obtain a low cost access to the EU market. Romanian companies will face increasing competition.
