The world's biggest helicopter maker, Eurocopter, part of EADS group, has suggested it may relocate part of its activities in Romania to the United Kingdom because the financial crisis brought the two countries on equal footing when it comes to salaries, The Times reports on Tuesday, as quoted by Dow Jones/Investir.fr.

According to the quoted source, the depreciation of the pound and salary costs made Britain one of the cheapest countries in Europe in terms costs per labor force. The source says Eurocopter believes that moving a 300 million pound contract back to the UK would may be accomplished without an impact on price.
