Inna is the first Romanian artist to top a Billboard chart, one of the most appreciated magazines worldwide, a reference publication for the world of music. After she succeeded to get to the top of Spanish charts and was listed among the top 10 Belgian, Hungary and Netherlands pop artists, a 23 year-old Romanian ranks first the Hot Dance Airplay Billboard with her Hot single, the singer's website informs.

Alexandra, known on stage as Inna, was born in Neptun (South-East). She started taking singing lessens when she was eight.

Hot, Inna's first single, was produced by Play & Win (Radu Boflea, Sebastian Barac and Marcel Botezan) and became the most broadcast song. It was strongly promoted by radio and TV stations, according to a rating measure system created Nielsen Media research.

On YouTube, the song counts an impressive number of views: Hot (True Love Video Edit) - over 10 millions; Hot (Dancing in the Dark Video Edit) - over two millions; Hot (Play & Win Club Version) - over one million.

After the "Inna fever" spread across Europe (in countries like Poland, Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovakia, Greece, Belgium, The Netherlands, Russia), an independent producer from the United States showed interest in the Romanian artist and offered her a contract.

Inna's second single, Love, was also produced by Play & Win, getting to Nielsen Chart's Top 10. At the end of 2009, the artist launched a season single as well, namely Need You for Christmas.
