The Central Electoral Office officially announced that the nationwide turnout registered in local elections across Romania on Sunday was 50.01%.The partial official results for 9 am show that in Bucharest the turnout was 31.34%, the institution's spokesperson Marian Muhulet announced on Monday. Bucharest independent candidate Sorin Oprescu obtained 56.31% of the cast votes while Demcrat Liberal (PD-L) Vasile Blaga, 46.68%.
