Romania must be "quick" in forming a Government after the elections on November 30, and the new cabinet should enjoy a solid support in the Parliament, in order to be able to manage the economic crisis effects, said president Traian Basescu during a conference with several French journalists, AFP informs.

"|The economic crisis will act as a catalytic agent for the adoption of a fast solution, beneficial for the entire country", said Basescu.

According to the head of state, the new cabinet will be called to efficiently manage the EU funds, which add up to 32 billion dollars until 2013. The priorities identified by Basescu are the road and railroad infrastructure, where the spending so far is zero, because of the lack of viable projects.
