The electoral campaign for the Parliamentarian elections ended today, at midnight, all electoral news, clips and interviews being banned until Monday. Romanians will vote on Sunday for the new Parliament and, consequently, for a new prime minister and a new governmental team.

Democrat - Liberals (PD-L), Social-Democrats (PSD) and Liberals (PNL) lead by far the rest of political parties, yet the structure of the future government is far from clear, any guess about future alliances being just as good as the next.

During the last campaign week, the polls revealed that the electors' preferences are quite similar to the ones during the local elections, in July 2008.

Social Democrats lead with 32.2% of the votes, followed by Democrat Liberals (32.1%) and Liberals (20.8%).
