Turnout at national level in Romania's general elections stood at 19.84% at 2.00 p.m. on Sunday, according to estimations of the Central Electoral Office (BEC). Turnout in Bucharest stood at 15.85%.
Average turnout in rural areas was 22.34% by 2.00 p.m., compared to 18.02% in urban areas.
