Incumbent President Traian Basescu warned on Monday that Romania will not be able to fulfill all its commitments to the IMF so that some modifications are needed. He took the opportunity to attack opposition leaders and counter candidates for the upcoming Presidential elections and declared that they are maintaining the country's instability by postponing the approval of the new proposed government.

Social Democratic, Liberal and Hungarian Democratic leaders are close to betray Romania's national interest, incumbent President Basescu declared, quoted by Romanian news agency NewsIn.

I have to mention that if the three party leaders continue to maintain the political instability they are consistently approaching an act of treason against national interest, the President declared. He said that without a government, the country's credibility decreases.
