The interim European Commission report regarding the judicial system in Romania will conclude that the country was not able no maintain the reform rhythm but that anti-corruption fight improved last year, RFI Brussels correspondent Mihaela Gherghisan said after consulting a draft of the report.

The text underlines that there are delays in the Parliament regarding the two procedural, civil and penal codes. The National Anti - Graft Department registered good results, the report reads. The EC report is expected to be released next week. Meanwhile, the document is consulted internally.

A copy of the report was sent to the Romanian and Bulgarian Ambassadors for consultation.
