The political leaders in Belgrade discuss on Tuesday the matter of the national security, within a National Security Council meeting, Serb radio stations inform. The reunion was convoked by president Boris Tadic after the violent demonstrations on Thursday, when the US, Turkish and Croatian embassies in Belgrade were attacked.

Serb Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic declared that the street violence will be the only matter to be discussed today, after he qualified the events as unacceptable and "undermining Serbia's diplomatic relations".
Vuk Jeremic once again claimed that Serbia will continue to fight through its diplomacy, in order to obtain the annulment of the one-side independence declaration of the Kosovo province.

While Poland recognized today the newly formed state, the Romanian Foreign Minister, Adrian Cioroianu, said that Romania wished to be a bridge between the Belgrade authorities and the NATO - EU team.
