International media (and especially the Italian media) praised today the game made by Romanian striker Adrian Mutu during the football confrontation between Fiorentina (guests) and Eindhoven (hosts). The two goals scored by Mutu made journalists launch a new wave of epithets: lethal, magical, unique, perfect. The enthusiasm is easy to understand: due to Mutu, Fiorentina is the last Italian team in the European Cups.

"The wonderful Mutu scored a goal in each half of the game, helping Fiorentina win its 50 game in Europe, but also to qualify in the group of four European aces, in the UEFA cup", uefa.com reads.

Violanews.com offers Mutu the best note in the team, a 9 (out of 10): "It took Fiorentina by the hand and passed it through the gates, to the UEFA semi-finals".

"I am proud to be part of this group, representing Italy in Europe. It was an excellent performance from everyone. For me, a goal is always a reason for joy", said Mutu after the game against the Dutch team.
