Dorotheea Petre is playing the role of Maria, the Romanian girl while other important Romanian actors like Vlad Ivanov and Maia Morgenstern are acting in the movie.
Mar Negro will enter the Romanian market on November. The three prizes obtained by the movie were the first to be obtained by a movie with Romanian actors even though there were several other short Romanian movies present in the competition.
