The European Investments Bank )EIB) and the World Bank (WB) are willing to support financially the construction of the 20th European Corridor, a highway designed to connect the Central Europe with the East of the continent, via Bulgaria, according to a public statement made by the Serbian vice president in charge with economic matters, Mladjan Dinkic, AFP informs.

BEI will agree with a 540 million Euros credit for the two sections of the 10th corridor, one connecting Southern Serbia and Macedonia, the other between Southern Serbia and Bulgaria. The details of the financing contract will be discussed in November, in Belgrade.

Meanwhile, the World Bank approved a 285 million Euros loan, also for investments in the construction of the 10th European corridor.
