The international financial crisis and the household deficit in the Netherlands determine most Parliamentarians to interdict for another three years the access of both Romanian and Bulgarian workers on their labor market.

According to the Radio Netherlands website, the government does not agree with the decisions of the Social Affairs minister Piet Hein Donnet to accept Romanians and Bulgarians in the country starting July 1, 2009.

Two weeks ago, Piet Hein Donner decided to open up the market on July 1, 2009 but he declared that he wanted to see for himself that the measures against illegal recruiting companies work.
