A 38 year old Romanian woman abandoned her new born baby in a Church in Bavaria. The catholic priest, Thomas Rein, found the baby crying in the isle reconstructing the moment when Jesus was born.
The Romanian woman was arrested the day after the baby was found, as everybody was talking about the new born, which they named Christian. The woman was offered a translator and employees from the Minors' Office in Aichach-Friedberg are trying to help her pass the shock that made her abandon the child, two hours after he was born.
The woman accepted, in principle, to offer her baby for adoption, but, given the state of the woman, the decision is not final yet. Meanwhile, German authorities are looking for the father of the child.
