Russia will resume natural gas deliveries to Europe starting Friday if a formal agreement will be signed regarding the presence of European observers to observe gas transit in Ukraine, Gazprom head Alexei Miller declared, quoted by Interfax.

Miller declared that natural gas deliveries could be resumed as early as Friday if the agreement is signed. However, Ukraine refused to sign the memorandum on Thursday. Naftogaz chief Oleg Dubina declared that Ukraine guarantees the transit if Gazprom resumes deliveries.
