Romanian Catalin Damian, owner of a company in Spain who has gone on hunger strike for almost three weeks in a desperate attempt to recover 700,000 euro from a Spanish company, has received 630,000 euro, ABC.es informs.

Catalin Damian declared that he refused to eat for 18 days and thanked local authorities for taking his case seriously and helping him. Some 100 entrepreneurs protested in Madrid on Saturday, in a sign of solidarity with the Romanian.

Rador informs that Damian lost 11 kg in the almost three weeks of protests. He managed to obtain last week a promise that he will receive the money he was entitled to receive for several months now.
