The Sculeni checkpoint on the Romania - Moldova border was shut down completely on Wednesday morning, all traffic - to and from Moldova - being redirected towards the Albita custom point. Several groups of Moldovan students trying to go to Chisinau were prevented from entering the country during the night. The protests in the Moldova capital are expected to start again around 10:00h.
Update: Moldovan Interior Ministry informs that 100 policemen were injured during the confrontations on Tuesday. 139 protesters, including 8 minors, were arrested.
