Political science expert Aleksandr Dughin declared for daily Komsomolskaya Pravda that all clues lead to the idea that the events in Moldova represent an "orange revolution" planned by the Obama administration.

"This proves that the American line adopted in the relation with the post-Soviet space and its relation with Russia will not change. Any change is just an illusion of the Russian Liberals", the expert says.

On the other hand, Izvestia considers that the riot in Chisinau is a "revolution without any clear color" and warns that Moldova may not be able to maintain its current territory in case a coup d’état is successful. "In the event of an union between Romania and Moldova, the Transdniester Republic territory will be lost for good", the newspaper adds.
