The last movie directed by Romanian director Corneliu Porumboiu, Police, Adjective presented at Cannes is probably the best movie in the film festival this year even though it is not part of the competition, Financial Times reads in a film review.

If Jacques Derrida, the French philosopher, founder of deconstruction, would have created an action movie, it would have looked like the Romanian one. The whole movie is about signs and semiotics.

Police, adjective, the last movie directed by Porumboiu presents the story of a young policeman from the countryside who loses his trust in the laws he needs to apply. Within the Cannes film festival the movie competes within the Un Certain Regard category.
