UPDATE Romania's National Meteorological Administration issued a yellow code warning for Monday, 4 PM (local time) until Tuesday, 9AM (local time), addressing five counties, where there will be heavy rain falls.

The warning was issued for Caras-Severin (South-West), Mehedinti (South-West), Gorj (Central West), and the mountainous regions in Hunedoara (Central West) and Valcea (Central). The yellow code warning remains valid.

Yellow Code

The National Meteorological Administration issued a yellow code warning on Sunday. Romania will face consistent rain and strong winds, hail and electrical phenomena from June 22, 3AM to June 23, 9 PM.

The weather will be unstable in the West and South-West parts of Romania. There will be torrential rains in Banat, Oltenia, Crisana, Muntenia and in the mountainous region. Rainfalls will see between 2- to 25 litres per square meter locally and 50 litres per square meters in isolated areas.
