German police arrests 10 Romanian thieves at the Heavy Metal Wacken Open Air festival

Some 80,000 Heavy Metal fans gather each year in a small town with some 2000 inhabitants, 100 km away from Hamburg, between July 30 to August 1 at Wacken Open Air Festival. During the festival, some 250 pickpocketing complaints were registered. German police officers detained some 10 Romanians aged between 20 to 30 yeas old.

On Thursday, the police registered some 60 complaints and arrested three Romanians for investigations. The police warned all fans to protect their belongings. However, there were more Romanians at the event, and another seven were detained. Police officers found important sums of money and belongings that were  confiscated and returned to their rightful owner.
