Two Romanian citizens lost their lives in Berlin after the roof of an old building collapsed on Wednesday, official sources declared for the Romanian news agency Mediafax. According to quoted sources, the two Romanians were a priest and a worker.

Romania's Foreign Affairs ministry spokesperson Alin Serbanescu confirmed that two Romanians were involved in an accident on Tuesday night, at 10 pm. According to Serbanescu, the roof of an old building collapsed downtown Berlin.

One of the victims is the local priest of the Romanian Orthodox Church in Berlin who will be buried in Romania. According to quoted sources the Romanian Church had authorization for construction works at the site.
