EU industrial production diminished in August by 13.5% compared to the same month last year, while in the euro zone the drop was 15.4%, Eurostat data reveals. Production decreases were registered in all EU member states and the smallest was registered in Romania on 4.4%.

The industrial production decreased by 2.5% in Poland. After Poland and Romania, the next countries were Netherlands, with -6.4% and Portugal with -6.6%. The biggest decreases of the criteria was registered in Luxembourg with -27.4%, Finland with -21.4% and Sweden with -19.2%.
