Polish ex-President Lech Kaczynski's burial ceremony, scheduled for Sunday this week, might be postponed because of the Icelandic volcanic ash cloud, a Presidential Administration in Warsaw announced, quoted by AFP. Poland closed its air space due to the ash cloud. European officials and US president Barak Obana have already announced their presence at the Sunday's funeral.

"I believe there is a very serious alternative that we need to consider", the Polish official declared for a local public radio.

The Polish President, his wife and other 94 people have lost their lives last Saturday, in the flight tragedy in Smolensk in Russia. Lech Kaczynski was supposed to be buried on Sunday, at the Wawel Castle in Krakow.
