Decisions made by the Hungarian Parliament on double citizenship must be in line with current international standards and norms, Romanian Foreign minister Teodor Baconschi has said, according to Romanian news agency Agerpres.

Baconschi presented Romania's position on the double citizenship in Hungary during talks with Zolt Nemeth, secretary of state at the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, during a regional conference in Romania.

The Hungarian official assured about the commitment of Hungarian authorities to comply with international law and parties agreed to continue consultations at expert levels to clarify technical aspects in this regard.
