A Romanian felon exploiting Gypsies of Romanian origin in Paris, also known as the Godfather and sentenced to 10 years of prison in France, was arrested in Madrid where he lived under a false identity, the Spanish newspapers read, quoted by AFP.

Adrian Rascu, one of the fugitives most sought by the French police, was sentenced to 10 years of prison in 2005 but managed to escape. He was arrested in Madrid this week.

In France, he exploited Gypsies which he brought from Romania under the pretext of a decent and well paid job.
