Lellouche accuses Reding of exagerrating after the Commission criticized France / The French government declared he is taken aback by the Commissioner's declarations

Such exagerration is not called for, French State Secretary for European Affairs Pierre Lellouche commented to the declaration made by EC Commissioner Viviane Reding, AFP informs. Patience has its limits, this is not a way to address a big state, Lellouche declared. A Spokesperson on fhte French Foreign Affairs ministry said that the government is taken aback by the declarations made by the European Commissioner. 

Lellouche replied to the harsh criticism made against France and against him personally. He accused Reding of being too harsh and condemned the language she used. Patience has its limits and this is not the way the Commission should address a big member state, Lellouche said.
