Romanes gypsie circus will be expelled from France

Sarkozy's government plans to shut down one of the most important circuses in Europe, the Romanes gypsie circus, The Guardian informs. Officials claim that the shutting down of the circus has nothing to do with France's campaign against the gypsies. 

Officials told the press that there were several functioning problems found within the circus like the involvement of children in their program and the exploitation of employees - by paying them with incredibly low sums of money. 

The Romanes circus is one of the most unusual cultural objectives in Paris It is the only gypsie circus in Europe and its employees are gypsies. For 18 years, the Romanes circus has attracted tourists from across the world and in June it represented France at the Shanghai World Expo.
