Hungarian publication Nepszabadsag quoted by Romanian monitoring agency Rador informs the hotels which will accommodate the heads of state participating at the 2008 NATO Summit in Bucharest on April 2-4.

Quoting sources in Bucharest, the publication writes that President George W. Bush and the entire American delegation totalling some 1000 persons will be accommodated at Marriott hotel while the German delegation and Chancellor Angela Merkel will be hosted by Hilton.

EC President Jose Manuel Barroso and all members of the Canadian, Dutch and Polish delegations together with some of the Spanish delegation, will stay at the Hilton hotel as well. The remaining members of Spain will stay at Novotel.

During the Summit, Italian PM Romano Prodi will live at Howard Johnson Hotel while the UN delegation with its Secretary General will stay at Capsa. According to the same sources, French President Nicolas Sarkozy will stay at Sofitel.

The Summit will have important economic benefits as the guests are estimated to pay a total of 1.5 million euro per day.

Now, the question is whether the information considered classified will affect the safety of the heads of state or not - an answer that will be determined by secret service officials.
