The Academy Awards ceremony last night saw No Country for Old Men as the big winner of the night - best picture, best director, best adapted screenplay and best supporting actor (Javier Bardem). Daniel Day-Lewis won his second Oscar for best leading role with his part in There Will Be Blood, while Marion Cotillard won in front of Cate Blanchett's "Elizabeth" with her role in "La vie en rose".

Austrian production Fälscher, Die won the best foreign movie award, the winner of the documentary section was Taxi to the Dark Side, and the best animation, as many predicted, was Ratatouille.
