Romanian football player Adrian Mutu will have to stay away from the football field for four weeks after he suffered a knee injury during last weekend's match between his Fiorentina and AS Rome. He will not play for the matches Fiorentina has scheduled against Livorno, Juventus, Siena, Genoa and Naples in the Serie A championship.
He will not play in the UEFA Cup matches between Fiorentina and Everton either.
Mutu was injured in minute 39 of the match against Rome on Stadio Olimpico last weekend.
Me may also be unavailable for Romania's national team friendly match against Russia on March 26.
