Costel Busuioc, whe earned his name of Romania's Pavarotti following his widely applauded performance in a Spanish TV contest, said in an interview for the Romanian public radio quoted by Romanian monitoring agency Rador that he has signed a temporary contract with Sony BMG - a contract that can be influenced by Costel's final position in the Hijos de Babel show.

Costel says that is the same modest man that he used to be before being discovered.

Costel talks about his hard teenage years in Romania and about the most important asset in his life: his family. Costel shows himself to be a modest, simple and caring person, who holds his faith in God. He adds that he will sign a final contract with Sony only if he wins Hijos de Babel and only if his family agrees.

Costel Busuioc moved with his wife and 4 children to Spain a couple of years ago and he works in constructions works in an attempt to create a better future for his children.
