Romanian Foreign minister Adrian Cioroianu has submitted a case to receive a professor's seat at the Faculty of History of the Bucharest University but his request was rejected by the Education Ministry, Romanian news agency NewsIn informs. Apparently, Cioroianu's file was rejected because the file was incomplete: it was either missing the solicited number of published papers or a PhD degree.

The file was stopped at the Judicial Department of the Education Ministry as it did not meet the necessary documents. Sources within the Education Ministry argue that Cioroianu did not have a PhD diploma or other documents necessary to become a professor in history.

Foreign minister Cioroianu said that his file is blocked at the Judicial Department because he omitted to present his graduation diploma.
