Romanian journalists believe that there will be more communication crisis in 2008 in Romania than there were in 2007. The risk factors are the evolution of economy, the organizations management and the communication capacity of organizations, a study published on Wednesday reveals. The study, conducted by the Rogalski - Grigoriu PR company, also analyzes the communication crisis in 2007, with the most infamous cases: Danone and the dioxin content in yoghurt, Raluca Stroescu vs. Ernst&Young and Smithfield and the pork plague.

The three cases were acknowledged by journalists as the most important in 2007, along with the withdrawal of the CBRE real estate group from the Romanian market, the Rompetrol - Kazmunaigaz transaction, the problems with low cost flight companies, the incident on the Otopeni airport at the end of the year, the referendum, the Romanian immigrants problems in Italy and a few others.

Journalists believe that the areas most exposed to communication crisis in 2008 will be banking, food industry, real estate market, air transportation, insurance market, medical services and pharmaceutical industry.

The risk factor identified by journalists refer to:

- macro factors: the increasing volatility of the national currency, the recession, the elections and political pressure, the overheating economy;

- management factors: the lack of labor force, the excessive stress on employees, the lack of transparency practice, the rapid and chaotic evolution, the prices' growth;

- communication factors: the lack of professionalism, the lack of communication specialists;

- natural factors.
