Foreign affairs American expert for the White House Bruce Jackson, who also founded the Project on Transitional Democracies attacked the German position on the Membership Action Plan offer for Georgia and Ukraine, urging Germans to publicly give their reasons for their position. Jackson believes that Putin's attitude in this Summit reveals the most charming Russian President ever seen.

Jackson is very confident that the two countries will be invited to join NATO structures, and sustains his view based on some declarations Bush made earlier today. He attacked German's stand on the issue, declaring that their foreign affairs strategies are old.

Plus, he argued that once NATO will take a decision concerning the two countries, Russia will have no other choice than accepting it. He argued that Putin will join the Summit on relaxing terms and he will be charming.
