Anti-graft prosecutors sued Romania's Professional Football League (LPF) president Dumitru Dragomir under bribery charges together with FC National local football club head resident Gino Iorgulescu and Dragomir's former driver, it was announced on Monday.

Anti-graft prosecutors declared that Dragomir received a 32,600-dollar plot of land from Gino Iorgulescu in order to convince him to approve a land acquisition of the League which amounted to some 335,000 dollars, way over the market price.

Prosecutors said that the League bought the plots of land breaching an internal legislation of the league. Anti graft prosecutors added that the file is sent to a specialized court to continue the process.
