The price per oil barrel reached for the first time in history the symbolic level of 135$ on the Asian electronic markets, continuing the 20% advance recorded at the beginning of the month. The price increase is caused by the fear on the level of existing and decreasing US reserves.

The price for light sweet crude oil to be delivered in July reached 135.04 dollars per barrel on Thursday morning. On Wednesday, NYSE reached a new record - 134.10 dollars, while the price in London was 133.47 dollars per barrel.
