The International Court of Justice in Hague continues on Tuesday the hearings in the Romania vs. Ukraine dispute regarding the Black Sea continental plateau. This time, is Ukraine's turn to present its arguments, after Romania sustained its closings last week.

The Ukrainian team is lead by Volodimir Vasilenko and has three hours/day starting Tuesday until Friday to sustain and argument their position in the dispute. In six months' time, the Court will take a final decision on the issue, which will be mandatory. The dispute regards the 12,000 sq meters continental plateau, rich in natural gas and other resources, Radio Romania Actualitati informs.

Romania's representative at the International Court of Justice, Bogdan Aurescu declared that Ukraine's initiatives to settle and transform the Serpent Island in a town can have no judicial effects in the case.
