Romania is ranked second at EU level when it comes to tax evasion, a report set up by the Associazione Contribuenti Italiane and Klrs Network of Business ethics shows, quoted by novinite.com. According to the quoted report, in Romania, tax evasion amounts to 18% of GDP.
First in the list is Italy, where the tax evasion value is estimated at 23% of GDP. Also in top 3 is Bulgaria where tax evasion reaches 18%. In Great Britain, tax evasion is only 6% while in Belgium is reaches 5%.
