Romanian PM Calin Popescu Tariceanu declared that efforts need to be made for Romania to reach its full potential and become the 7th economic power in Europe. He made the statement in a press conference presenting the Liberal Party candidates for this fall parliamentary elections. He added that the Liberal Party will rise to the expectations and fulfill all electoral promises.

Moreover, the Prime Minister did not miss the opportunity to attack the Social Democrats, the main opposition party and declared that they invented the concept of undelivered promises. Tariceanu declared that Liberals will have two main strategic directions, namely education and infrastructure.

Plus, Tariceanu advised Liberal candidates to avoid personal disputes in the electoral campaign and be focused on the social agenda. He added that voters need a better life with better salaries and jobs.
